Denney worked for us on two projec ts in the house. He is great to work with. Denney is very knowledgeable,skilled and competent, reliable and produces quality work with his assistants. One project was repairing part of a bathroom wall, installing a new window and tiling the bathroom wall. The other project involved a re-do of our foyer with installation of new tile, retexturizing and painting the drywall, re-tread and stain of stairs, installation of new banister and newel post (which Denney made!) and installation of a built in bookcase under the stair (also made by Denney). He has also tiled our kitchen walls and installed a range hood and taken care of plumbing and lighting features. He responds promptly and is a good communicator, conducts business very professionally and has excellent knowledge base and skills. We would highly recommend him to anyone for his quality work.

I love the work Denney and Cindy did at my home because it seemed perfect to me. We had plywood siding that had trapped damp, and Denney not only replaced the boarding but also scoped out why it had happened and corrected the situation so that water would drain properly. Included in the repair was flashing that he installed well beyond the problem area for good drainage. He also did the undercoating and painting with Cindy's help. He noted leaves being trapped in decorative beams overhead and devised an opening for their escape in future. Just did it without adding more to his bill. Used plenty of silicone caulking material to insure that moisture wouldn't be trapped in the area. Careful, clean work all around. In the beginning of the job, he had had to remove slats of fencing on our deck; these he replaced meticulously when he was finished. Every piece of material he used was cut to line up perfectly with existing surfaces and decoration. After he finished, I asked him to walk around the house to see any other trouble spots, and I've got an idea now what to have him back to repair or improve. To top it off, he was willing to haul away extra junk we had on our property at the cost of the dump fee. He and his wife are terrific, and I'm sure to have them back whenever I need help.

Mr. Dennis Coughlin (Denney) was hired originally to do interior painting and to also finish out a storage area in the home. He was punctual, professional, and showed up with a crew of co-workers. After a few days of exceptional work, we requested his help with a few different projects on our home/property. Denney is very meticulous and will find a solution to whatever you throw at him. He is very easy to work with and above all he is honest and ethical, which is hard to find in contractors generally. He has done quite a bit of work for us and we have not been disappointed. My husband is in the Real Estate industry and we have been involved in 8 different properties, ranging from spec building to remodeling homes in Hawaii and California over the past 8 years. We wish we could have had someone like Denney since our first project because we have gone through many people contractors/handymen over the years. I will never call anyone else, unless Denney says the work proposed is out of his scope.
